Thankfully for Sims players, that's where mods come in. But despite this latest high school-centered expansion, there's still so much room for improvement in teen gameplay. It reintroduced Prom night as an event, allowed players to travel to school with their Sims, and finally gave a much-needed upgrade to the realm of teen fashion. It brought with it many features that Sims fans felt were missing from the latest generation of the game. Updated on May 7, 2023, by Evangeline Bryce: Teen gameplay saw a decent upgrade after the release of The Sims 4: High School Years in July 2022. From new school interactions to updated personal relationships, multiple mods help make the teen gameplay in The Sims 4 even more exciting than it already is. I know that’s not necessarily what you've asked about, but that’s how I found edit.Teenage years are the time when people significantly change, from their way of life to their hobbies. A small insider’s tip: You can often find nice texture replacements/ small variations of Sims 2 clothing on the default database and a lot of them have a custom version somewhere (often linked in the description of the default replacement post). And then there are just the little odds and ends you find scrolling through Tumblr, like this conversion/ edit by (which I’m using for my adult Klara Vonderstein. Dustfinger at modthesims has done some conversions (although most of them have been cleaned up by whattheskell and are now part of the Repository Project). The university-like underwear most of my Sims in that hood wear is a default replacement that unlocks it for adults by here (another cc creator I can recommend as they often offer default texture replacements as well as cc versions of their clothing). It’s such a fun resource for very maxis-match clothing). Personally, I can recommend Repository Project, she has converted quite a few things from University (really, I just downloaded everything. There’s also not really a single mod that allows them to wear YA clothing, but there are quite a few CC creators that have enabled YA clothing for other life stages. It’s (almost) impossible to have YA Sims living outside of campus in Sims 2 (as Young Adults work completely different in Sims 2 than in the other games), so my Black Mesa Sims are all just your regular adult Sims.
